Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for goods that fail to meet minimum statutory guarantees, in accordance with New Zealand law.

These terms shall be governed by the laws of New Zealand and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.

Business Purchases: If jewellery is purchased for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply. Any liability is limited to repair or replacement of the jewellery supplied.
Consumer Purchases: If you purchase jewellery as a consumer (non-business), the Act applies and overrides any inconsistent provision in these Terms. Dare to Dazzle does not provide guarantees beyond the Act.

Ownership: Dare to Dazzle (“DD”) is a jewellery collection owned and operated by Layaz Jewellers Limited, registered in New Zealand.

DD may trade under its own name but operates under Layaz Jewellers Limited. References to “we”, “us”, “our” mean Dare to Dazzle. References to “you”, “your” mean our customer.

We aim to dispatch all orders within 2–3 business days (Mon–Fri).

Orders placed on weekends or NZ public holidays will be processed the following business day.
Delivery times are set by our courier partners and outside our control. Tracking details are provided by email upon dispatch.
Cancellations are not permitted due to courier network delays.
If stock is unavailable, we will notify you and provide a refund promptly.

Signature-required delivery is standard. If you request “no-signature delivery,” we accept no responsibility for loss or damage once delivered.

3.0 Shipping & Delivery

Customers are responsible for local customs duties, tariffs, and taxes in the destination country.

For US orders, applicable tariffs and taxes are collected prior to checkout. If you return an item after accepting tariff charges, a restocking fee may apply.
Delivery estimates exclude customs delays or holds. Customers should liaise directly with their local customs office for clearance issues.

International Orders:

All prices are shown in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and charged in NZD at checkout. For convenience, our website also offers the option to view and pay in other major currencies at checkout, you may select your preferred currency if available.

Accepted payment methods: credit/debit cards and other secure payment gateways offered at checkout.
Only one transaction may be made per order.
The name that will appear on your statement is LAYAZ JEWELLERS LIMITED (Dare to Dazzle).
International customers: Final charges may vary due to currency conversion or exchange rates at the time of processing.

4.0 Payments

If notified before goods are dispatched, we may accept order cancellations. Once shipped, cancellation is at our discretion and may incur a return/cancellation fee.

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unworn, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Sale items are final sale and only eligible for exchange (unless faulty).
Faulty items must be reported with images and a description of the issue. If deemed faulty, we will repair, replace, or refund in line with NZ Consumer Law.
Customs duties, taxes, and shipping charges are non-refundable.

5.0 Returns, Exchanges & Faulty Items

From time to time, Dare to Dazzle may operate pop-up stores or participate in markets and events in New Zealand and internationally.

Payment Methods: Pop-up purchases can be made by credit/debit card or other methods made available at the event. Payments are processed through secure third-party providers.
Pricing: All prices at pop-up stores will be displayed in local currency unless otherwise stated. Taxes and duties applicable in the country of sale will be included in the price shown.
Stock Availability: Pop-up event stock is limited, and products may sell out quickly. We cannot guarantee availability of specific items at events.
Returns & Exchanges: Pop-up purchases are subject to the same returns and faulty item policies set out in Section 5.0, unless local consumer law in the country of sale provides additional protections.
Event Cancellations: Dare to Dazzle is not liable for pop-up or event cancellations outside our control (including venue closures, government restrictions, or force majeure events).

6.0 Pop-Up Stores & Events

We collect personal information (e.g., name, email, shipping details) only to process orders and improve your experience.

Your information will never be sold to third parties. It may be disclosed if required by law enforcement or government authorities.
Marketing communications will only be sent with your consent, and you may unsubscribe anytime.

While we take great care in crafting our jewellery, Dare to Dazzle is not liable for:

Normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse, accidents, or improper care.
Delays or loss of goods caused by courier networks, customs, or “no signature” delivery requests.
